Overview: What does Validation mean? Validation is done before or when a process or control is designed or changed, and it answers the question “Will this control work to keep food safe? 

”What does Verification mean? Verification is done after the system is in place, and it answers the question “Are we actually doing what we said, and is it still working as intended?”

Together, they form a core part of HACCP and preventive controls programs and are expected by regulations such as FSMA and food safety standards like BRCGS and SQF. When done well, they reduce the risk of contamination, help avoid recalls, and demonstrate due diligence to regulators, customers, and certification bodies.

Food and Beverage is pleased to provide this new offering at an introductory price.

Who Should Attend: Consultants, Auditors, Quality Safety management staff at manufacturing, storage and distribution, and retail sales and BRCGS professionals.

Assessment: Course Assignment- Validation and Verification. Pass Mark 75%

Course Summary: This course will provide participants with a thorough understanding of validation and verification, so they know the level of detail required for each process and are able to use validation and verification in practice. This is especially helpful when implementing some of the requirements in the BRCGS Standards.
