Join Food & Beverage Manitoba for an informative 4-part series led by Peter Chapman, focusing on how to successfully market your products. This series will guide you through getting your products onto store shelves and into shoppers' carts.


There are four sessions in total, three of which are virtual, and the final session is in-person. A Zoom link will be provided for the virtual sessions.


Who should attend? This series is designed for food and beverage processors across various sectors, whether you're already in different retailers or just starting out. These sessions will help strengthen your sales strategies and maximize your presence on store shelves. Attendance is required for all four sessions.


Session 1 - Building the Foundation (Virtual - 3 hours)

Session 2 - Developing the Plan (Virtual - 3 hours)

Session 3 - Understanding the Store (Virtual - 3 hours)

Session 4 - Measure the Results (In-person)


The final session will take place at Food & Beverage Manitoba's location at 300-245 McDermot Ave, where Peter Chapman will personally meet with attendees. For those unable to attend in person, a virtual option will be available.


Peter Chapman brings a wealth of experience to these sessions, having worked across the entire supply chain and in retail merchandising. With nearly two decades of experience at Loblaw's, Canada's largest food retailer, Peter has in-depth knowledge of various aspects, including merchandising, marketing, and advertising.


In 2007, Peter founded SKUFood, a company offering tailored services to producers, processors, and retailers across Canada. He is the author of "A la cart: A supplier’s guide to retailers’ priorities" and served as the national president of the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers in 2021. Peter has contributed insights to publications like Canadian Grocer, The Globe & Mail, and Maclean's magazine, and he writes a monthly column in the Grower.
